Site-Specific Dance Festival at the Museum of Glass in Tacoma
Barefoot Studios presents SiteWorks, a summer outdoor festival of site-specific dance performances created for the plaza spaces of the Museum of Glass in Tacoma. SiteWorks will be performed free of charge on consecutive weekends and Third Thursday Art Walk:
- Saturday July 8 and Sunday July 9 at 1:00 PM;
- Saturday July 15 and Sunday July 16th at 1:00 PM;
- Thursday July 20 at 6:00pm.
“When we first explored Tacoma as the new home for Barefoot Studios we were very attracted to the beautiful plaza spaces of the Museum of Glass and immediately began imagining performing there,” says Barefoot Studios co-owner Paul Zmolek, “with SiteWorks we will be able to make this happen.”
Barefoot Studios will be offering a Performance Workshop for ages 12 - Adult allowing participants to create and perform a work for SiteWorks. No experience is necessary.
